About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in Iron River, MI. This is an inpatient role in a Level IV Trauma facility, providing supplemental coverage for ongoing needs. The position is clinical only, with shifts available from August through September. The CRNA will work Monday-Thursday with 10-hour shifts, managing a patient volume of 2-8. The case mix includes regional anesthesia and general anesthesia for adults, with specific requirements for spinal and regional anesthesia surgery. The department has 1 bed, and the facility uses Epic EMR. Temporary privileges are available, and travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Requirements

• Active MI License
• BC/BE
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide general anesthesia for adults.
• Administer spinal anesthesia.
• Perform regional anesthesia surgery.
• Manage patient volume of 2-8 patients per day.
• Work Monday-Thursday with 10-hour shifts.
• Utilize Epic EMR system.
• Work in an inpatient setting within a Level IV Trauma facility.
