About The Position
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in Englewood, FL. This is a clinical-only role covering supplemental needs in an outpatient setting. The coverage period is from June 11-19, 2026, with specific dates needing to be filled including June 11, 12, and 16-19. The patient volume is approximately 20 per day, and admissions are required. The CRNA will work alongside 5 RNs and 3 office staff. The case mix includes Cardiac, Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head Spine, Neuro, OB, Pediatric, Regional, and Thoracic cases. Required procedures include Upper Endoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, EGD/Colonoscopy, and Sigmoidoscopy. The facility uses Cerner EMR, and malpractice insurance is covered.
Requirements
- Active FL license
- Board Certified (BC)
- ACLS certification
- Availability to cover all specified June dates (June 11, 12, 16-19, 2026)
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services in an outpatient setting.
- Manage patient care during procedures including Cardiac, Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head Spine, Neuro, OB, Pediatric, Regional & Thoracic cases.
- Perform required procedures such as Upper Endoscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, EGD/Colonoscopy & Sigmoidoscopy.
- Work collaboratively with RNs and office staff.
- Admit patients as required.
- Utilize Cerner EMR system.
