Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist – CRNA – Per Diem -NYP/The One- Days
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian is expanding its mission to provide high-quality care in Westchester County with a new state-of-the-art ambulatory care facility in White Plains, opening in September 2025. This multi-disciplinary facility will offer adult and pediatric care. Our Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) will provide patient-centered anesthesia to adult and pediatric patients, collaborating with surgical teams within an Anesthesia Care Team model. The role focuses on various procedures including robotic surgery, general surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, and endoscopic cases. This position offers an excellent work-life balance with flexible scheduling, day shifts only, and no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties. CRNAs will manage consistent cases, primarily focusing on bread-and-butter procedures and pediatrics, utilizing advanced technology within a dedicated team environment aimed at achieving high surgical success rates and low mortality rates. This is a per diem days position at NewYork-Presbyterian/The One.
Requirements
- Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist
- Master of Science in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP or DNAP)
Responsibilities
- Deliver unparalleled, patient-centered anesthesia to both adult and pediatric patients.
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure high-quality anesthesia and analgesia services are delivered within an Anesthesia Care Team model.
- Provide anesthesia for various procedures, including robotic surgery, general surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, and endoscopic cases.
- Manage manageable and consistent cases, focusing primarily on bread-and-butter procedures and pediatrics.
- Utilize advanced technology to ensure the highest surgical success rates and the nation’s lowest mortality rate.
