About The Position

CRNAs provide full-spectrum anesthesia care and operate with a high degree of autonomy. This is a well-established, private practice opened in the 1990s and is the sole provider of anesthesia to a major medical group for all general surgeries. Join a group with 5 Anesthesiologists, 6 CRNAs, and 2 Anesthesia Techs that make a big impact in the Atlanta area. The CRNA will see a variety of cases - general anesthesia and OB heavy case load - about 1600 deliveries per year. Join a diverse, supportive team that is open to training!

Requirements

  • Board Certified CRNA / Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Responsibilities

  • Pre-Anesthesia Assessment: Evaluate patients' medical history, physical condition, and lab results to formulate a safe, personalized anesthetic plan.
  • Anesthesia Administration: Induce and maintain general anesthesia, regional anesthesia (such as epidurals and spinal blocks), local anesthesia, and sedation.
  • Intraoperative Monitoring: Continuously track vital signs, airway status, and fluid balance during surgery, adjusting anesthetic depth as needed.
  • Airway Management: Perform advanced airway interventions, including endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation, and extubating.
  • Post-Anesthesia Care: Monitor patient recovery, manage acute post-operative pain, and safely transition patients to recovery units.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to cardiopulmonary arrests and trauma situations by stabilizing airways and administering life-saving medications.
