About The Position
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a Locum Tenens position in Muskegon, MI. This is an inpatient role covering clinical duties only, with a need for supplemental coverage ASAP and ongoing. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center utilizing the Epic EMR system. This position requires hospital privileges and a credentialing timeline of 60-90 days. The CRNA will administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical cases, including Ortho, GI, Vascular, GYN, Neuro, Ortho Trauma, Acute Trauma, ENT, Healthy Peds, and Robotics. Patients range from healthy pediatrics to all ages. The average daily volume is 80-100 surgical cases.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Active MI License or Active Compact License
- Hospital Privileges Required
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for surgical cases (Ortho, GI, Vascular, GYN, Neuro, Trauma, ENT, Peds, Robotics)
- Manage patient airways and monitor vital signs throughout procedures
- Perform pre-operative assessments and develop anesthesia plans
- Collaborate with anesthesiologist in a medical direction care team model
- Document anesthesia care and maintain accurate patient records in Epic
