Requirements
- California registered nurse license and CRNA license required.
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Nice To Haves
- Masters' Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Doctorate Degree in Nurse Anesthesia Practice Preferred.
- 1 year of experience as a CRNA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Precept SRNAs and support the development of future anesthesia providers
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Engage in peer review and professional practice activities
- Serve on the Advanced Practice Council and other interdisciplinary committees
- Participate in Grand Rounds, journal clubs, case conferences, and continuing education programs
- Contribute to a culture of mentorship, collaboration, and lifelong learning
- Performing comprehensive pre-anesthesia patient assessments and evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized anesthesia care plans in collaboration with the anesthesia team
- Delivering anesthesia care across a variety of procedural and surgical settings
- Monitoring patients throughout the perioperative period and responding to changing clinical conditions
- Providing post-anesthesia evaluation, follow-up, and patient care
