About The Position

LifeLinc Anesthesia is seeking an experienced Full time CRNA to join our team at TriStar Northcrest Medical Center in Springfield, TN. This position offers a Monday – Friday schedule, call opportunities and the ability to practice in an autonomous, yet highly collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional, cost-effective anesthesia care! About the Facility: TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center is a 109-bed acute care hospital dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of Robertson County, TN and the surrounding areas. The position offers a diverse case mix including general, orthopedic, endoscopy, and OB/GYN procedures. CRNAs practice in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with experienced anesthesia providers and supportive surgical staff. The hospital is committed to high-quality, patient-centered care and offers a stable, well-equipped setting for anesthesia professionals seeking both clinical variety and strong team support. Schedule: Waterfall system Case Mix: Most specialties; Does not includes cardiac or neuro cases. Call Requirements: 1:7 First and Second Call Guaranteed post first call day off In house call only if there is an active OB patient on the floor

Requirements

  • ACLS/BLS/PALS certification

Responsibilities

  • The CRNA must function as a collaborator and team member to accomplish applicable goals and functions of LifeLinc.
  • Develop standards for continuity of care and case management.
  • Remains cognizant of rules and regulation as they pertain to the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and remains compliant at a local, state, and federal level.
  • Performing and timely and accurately documenting a pre-anesthetic assessments and patient evaluations, including requesting consultations and diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering, or administering pre-anesthetic medications and fluids; and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia.
  • Managing a patient's airway.
  • Managing emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
  • Releasing or discharging patients from a post-anesthesia care area, and providing post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care related to anesthesia side effects or complications.
  • Responding to emergency situations by providing airway management, administration of emergency fluids or drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques.
  • Additional nurse anesthesia responsibilities which are within the expertise of the individual CRNA.
  • Attends meetings as needed
  • Works with peers to obtain required information on a timely basis and to solve outstanding issues, as appropriate.
  • Promotes and contributes positively to the teamwork of the department by assisting coworkers, contributing ideas and problem-solving with co-workers.
