About The Position

This is a locum tenens position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in an acute care hospital setting. The role involves clinical duties and participation in a call rotation. The coverage period is from August 4, 2026, ongoing, with 13-week assignments. The CRNA will provide anesthesia services for adults, obstetrics, and surgical patients across various case types including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, obstetrics, and urology. The facility is an acute care hospital with support staff including anesthesiologists and other CRNAs. This position is for supplemental coverage.

Requirements

Active Louisiana Medical License Required
Board Certified CRNA Required
BLS Preferred
New graduates are welcome to apply.
Providers will have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license.
Regional and neuraxial block training is available.
Provider availability must be submitted at the time of presentation for name clearance.
Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 60–90 Days
Onsite Orientation Required prior to first shift
Drug Screening Required prior to scheduling shifts

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures, including general, orthopedic, obstetric, and urology cases.
Perform regional and neuraxial blocks independently.
Participate in a shared 1:6 call rotation.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure safe, high quality patient care.
Complete all required onboarding, credentialing, and compliance requirements prior to the first scheduled shift.
