About The Position
At Mass Eye and Ear, we don’t just deliver anesthesia—we enable sight-saving, airway-securing, and life-changing surgeries every day. As a nationally ranked specialty hospital affiliated with Harvard, we care for some of the most complex ENT, ophthalmology, and head and neck patients in the world. This is a per diem position, payrate is $200/hr.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia.
- Current Massachusetts RN license.
- Certification or re-certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
- Current Massachusetts Board of Nursing Expanded Role Certification.
- Good oral and written communication skills and leadership qualities.
- ACLS/PALS Certification
Nice To Haves
- BA or BSN in Nursing
- Membership in professional nursing organization desired.
Responsibilities
- Provide general and regional anesthesia for complex ENT and eye surgeries
- Manage high-risk airways and unique anatomy with confidence
- Collaborate with expert surgical and perioperative teams
