About The Position
The Advanced Center for Surgery, affiliated with Vero Orthopaedics, is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their growing ambulatory surgery center team in Vero Beach, Florida. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a CRNA who values autonomy, predictable weekday hours, a collaborative clinical team, and a highly efficient outpatient environment. The Advanced Center for Surgery is a state-of-the-art, physician-owned ambulatory surgery center designed to provide high-quality surgical care in an efficient, patient-centered outpatient environment. It is AAAHC Accredited, State of Florida Licensed, and Medicare Certified, equipped with 3 operating rooms and 2 procedure/treatment rooms. The center supports a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedic surgery, pain management, spine, podiatry, general surgery, reconstructive/plastic surgery, and robotic total joint procedures. Their goal is to deliver exceptional care while creating a supportive environment for patients and clinicians.
Requirements
- Current Florida APRN license
- Current CRNA certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certification, as applicable
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to practice independently while working effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent communication and professionalism
Nice To Haves
- Previous ambulatory surgery center or outpatient anesthesia experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Performing pre-anesthesia evaluations and developing appropriate anesthesia plans
- Providing general anesthesia, MAC sedation, and regional anesthesia/blocks when appropriately credentialed
- Managing airway, hemodynamics, pain control, and patient safety throughout the perioperative period
- Supporting safe and efficient transitions to PACU and postoperative recovery
- Collaborating with the surgical team to maintain efficient case flow
- Participating in ASC quality, safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Providing compassionate, patient-focused anesthesia care from pre-op through recovery
