This is a Full Time Position for a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant specializing in Dermatology. The role involves patient preparation, recording medical history, maintaining compliance, handling phone communications, instrument care, participating in mandatory training, following policies, demonstrating knowledge of emergency preparedness, respecting patient confidentiality, utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR), identifying abuse victims, collecting and transporting specimens, setting up for procedures, demonstrating knowledge of equipment and procedures, collaborating with patient care planning, participating in patient education, assisting providers with procedures, acting as a resource, maintaining positive behavior, participating in process improvement, assessing patients for safety and medication appropriateness, acting as a liaison, completing assigned workload, administering medication and treatments, translating medications for pediatric doses, and floating to other clinical departments as assigned.
