About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant provides advanced clinical and administrative support to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations. This role performs a full range of front and back-office duties, including patient intake, vital signs, procedures, EKGs, point-of-care testing, scheduling, authorizations, and telehealth support. The position requires proficiency in advanced clinical procedures, accurate and timely documentation, infection prevention practices, instrument sterilization, and regulatory compliance. The Certified Medical Assistant anticipates patient and provider needs, promotes efficient workflow, and delivers exceptional customer service. This role serves as a resource for team members by supporting onboarding, sharing knowledge, and modeling best practices. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication, critical thinking, organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with EHR and Microsoft Office applications. Qualified candidates will possess advanced knowledge of medications and vaccinations, a commitment to quality patient care, and the ability to work independently while upholding the organization's mission, vision, and values. Ability to transition from the Everett location to the Bellevue location in October 2026 is required.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
  • Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
  • Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
  • Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • 6 months of Healthcare experience.
  • 6 months of Medical Assistant experience.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, organizational skills, attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with EHR and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of medications and vaccinations.
  • Commitment to quality patient care.
  • Ability to work independently while upholding the organization's mission, vision, and values.
