About The Position
The Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) supports individuals in recovery from substance use disorders by offering encouragement, understanding, and hope. This role uses lived experience to help others stay engaged in recovery and work toward long-term success. You will work with patients going through withdrawal & rehab, while interacting with all medical and administrative personnel in our center.
Requirements
- Active Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) credentials
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Experienced with Electronic charting systems - Point Click Care (PCC) preferred
- Ability to physically and emotionally assist in emergency situations, including behavioral emergencies and interventions.
Nice To Haves
- Prior CRSS experience in a behavioral health facility (SMHRF or ICF) is ideal, but not required

- Share recovery education and connect clients to helpful resources
