About The Position
The Certified Physician Assistant will support multiple shifts of occupational health operations in the Newport News Shipbuilding onsite clinic. Responsibilities will include working with a dedicated healthcare team, including physicians, nurses and medical assistants, to provide compassionate acute occupational medicine care to the workforce. Utilize clinical skills to diagnose and treat injured workers, make fitness-for-duty determinations, and assign appropriate work restrictions. Collaborate with the health and safety teams on medical and health policies to promote a safe and healthy work environment for our workforce, and reduce injuries.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of PA experience.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Licensed Physician Assistant.
- NCCPA certified.
Responsibilities
