Requirements

  • Current CA State Certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician
  • High school graduate or equivalent, or above.
  • Must be able to type or otherwise demonstrate proficiency with computer keyboard.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to provide proof of work authorization

Nice To Haves

  • One year or above practical experience as laboratory assistant or completion of phlebotomy program.

Responsibilities

  • Perform phlebotomy procedures.
  • Work effectively in a clinical laboratory with various electronic and mechanical testing instruments as well as a variety of "manual" testing kits which may often employ chemicals and compounds which can be harmful or hazardous if handled inappropriately.
