About The Position

Amber Specialty Pharmacy is seeking to hire a Certified Pharmacy Technician. This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule, operating from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST. The role offers an hourly wage between $21.00 and $24.00 and includes six paid holidays. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current unrestricted state pharmacy technician registration/licensure
  • National or state pharmacy technician certification per applicable State Board of Pharmacy requirements
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 90% of the time
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc., and traverse conferences, meetings, and remote events
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic math while analyzing data and generating reports.
  • Ability to monitor KPIs efficiently.
  • Experience with data reporting and creating professional presentations.
  • Highest business acumen, credibility with colleagues and communication skills required to represent requirements to cross-functional teams and partner with Manufacturers or other stakeholders.
  • Ability to host Zoom Meetings with internal and external clients
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and health screening (if applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Dedicated to the assigned contract, product, and program only
  • Participates in the implementation of a new program or assists in training and implementation when modifications are made to the existing program
  • Acts as a liaison between Company, Pharma Manufacturer, and contracted Manufacturer partners (e.g., HUB, etc.) to ensure all contractual obligations are being met
  • Collaborates with internal Company departments, Sr. Director of Clinical Operations, Clinical Operations Specialist and assigned National Account Manager to ensure customer requests are handled in a timely and accurate manner
  • Works with the Clinical Operations Team to oversee the contracted program services.
  • Strong diagnostic capabilities; ability to work with internal pharmacy teams to identify key areas for opportunity and improvement, issue resolution, process validation and continued monitoring all aspects of internal processes
  • Participates in scheduled calls with the Manufacturer and/or HUB as required.
  • Point of contact for case status updates.
  • Triages identified issues or concerns to the appropriate internal team (i.e., prior authorizations, appeals, grant funding, clinical) for appropriate resolution and report results back to the Manufacturer and/or HUB
  • Participates with assigned National Account Manager, Clinical Operations Team, and Trade Relations in relevant Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) as needed
  • Builds rapport with internal and external customers to promote the highest customer service and a positive image of the Company
  • Coordinates and leads meetings to review referral status, implementation, and workflow.
  • Provides case status and data updates and ad hoc reports to manufacturers and HUBs as requested.
  • Interprets and disseminates information, including key information about updates or changes in the assigned product and/or program details.
  • Assists in the development of training, programs, data collection, adverse event reporting and adherence to related to contractual agreements.
  • Adheres to all Company policies as indicated in the handbook and directives issued by management.
  • Has reviewed Policy and Procedure manual.
