Requirements

Certified Pharmacy Technician
Strong math skills for dosage calculations
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Comfort working around animals

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of veterinary medications and basic pharmacology is preferred

Responsibilities

Work hands-on with veterinary-prescribed medications, carefully preparing, measuring, labeling, and dispensing each order with accuracy and care.
Calculate proper dosages based on species, size, and condition.
Maintain detailed medication records and inventory.
Ensure pharmaceuticals are stored and handled correctly.
Serve as a trusted resource for pet owners by clearly explaining dosage instructions, storage needs, and potential side effects.
Support the veterinary team every step of the way.
