Requirements
- Must have effective Interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Current Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required
- PTCB certification required.
Responsibilities
- Assists pharmacists with filling prescriptions
- Answers phones
- Enters prescriptions into the computer
- Greets and assists customers
- Solves non-professional customer service issues
- Mails prescriptions
- Uses automated filling machines
- Files prescriptions and reports
- Conducts inventory and orders medications
- Handles third-party insurance
- Beside delivery to patients within the hospital
