Certified Pharmacy Technician (or Registered)
About The Position
GEMCORE is a rapidly growing multi-state family of companies headquartered in Hudson, OH, recognized by Inc. Magazine and the Cleveland Plain Dealer. We are seeking a Certified (or Registered) Pharmacy Technician for a unique closed-door mail order pharmacy operation. This role offers the opportunity to utilize your experience, impact patient quality of life, build lasting relationships, and contribute to the pharmacy's success. The position is located in Hudson, OH, with hours of operation from 8:15 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with no weekends, nights, or holidays. We are willing to hire Registered Technicians who plan to become Certified within 6 months.
Requirements
- Pharmacy Technician Certification from a nationally recognized agency. Willing to hire Registered Technicians with plans to become Certified within 6 months.
- Ability to work in a rapidly growing and fast paced environment
- Must possess and demonstrate excellent telecommunication skills and superb customer service
- Proficient word processing abilities as well as computer/system navigation
- High School diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Prior PioneerRx experience will be extremely beneficial
Responsibilities
- Data entry of new and refill prescriptions
- Filling of new and refill prescriptions
- Maintain sufficient and accurate inventory
- Resolve third party issues with payers and providers
- Phone calls to assist with business associates, patients, and providers needs and/or relays information to administrative support staff to complete calls as needed
- Coordinate vast interdepartmental patient care and service
- Participate and contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance improvement meetings
- Assist Compliance Department to ensure pharmacy operations and personnel are following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
