Certified Pharmacy Technician Full Time
About The Position
The Certified Pharmacy Technician position supports pharmacy services by assembling and participating in the distribution of medications. This role assists the department’s professional staff, under direct supervision, in numerous aspects of ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and monitoring medication use. The position requires certification by a nationally recognized certification board and registration with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (KY hospitals) within 30 days of hire date if you are a new registrant. If previously registered, you must have registration upon hire. This is a full-time position with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, including every other weekend. Rotating schedules have start/end times varying between 6:15 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Requirements
- Certification by a nationally recognized certification board.
- Nationally certified as a pharmacy technician OR Pharmacy Intern license.
- Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (KY hospitals), within 30 days of hire date if you are a new registrant. If previously registered, you must have registration upon hire.
