Job Summary Assists pharmacists with filling prescriptions, answers phones, enters prescriptions into the computer, greets and assists customers, solves non-professional customer service issues; mails prescriptions; uses automated filling machines; files prescriptions and reports; conducts inventory and orders medications; handles third-party insurance, beside delivery to patients within the hospital.
Requirements
- Effective Interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Current Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required
- PTCB certification required
Responsibilities
- Assists pharmacists with filling prescriptions
