About The Position

GOLFTEC is hiring a Certified Personal Coach at its Millenia location. The coach will join a community of golf industry professionals working to help people play better golf. Coaches complete GOLFTEC University (GTU), a comprehensive training program that combines on-the-job training at a GOLFTEC Center with in-person training at GOLFTEC headquarters in the Denver metro area. The role is suited to someone passionate about teaching golf, motivated to succeed as part of a team, and interested in using golf instruction technology. Compensation includes a base hourly rate, monthly commissions, bonus opportunities, and other performance-based components. Compensation metrics are based on individual and team performance. The estimated total compensation range is $55,000–$70,000. A $1,000 signing bonus is paid after completing GOLFTEC University.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in golf instruction or club fitting is preferred.
Prior knowledge of golf swing mechanics is highly preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate in a professional, team-based environment.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, or crouch for extended periods and lift items weighing more than 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Affiliation with the PGA or LPGA.
Graduation from a PGM program.

Responsibilities

Graduate from GOLFTEC University, GOLFTEC’s comprehensive training program.
Use golf technology to help students improve their game.
Recommend teaching content to support customized lesson plans for students of varying skill levels.
Provide GOLFTEC services, including TECFIT club fitting, outdoor playing lessons, and short-game lessons.
Create a high-level experience for students inside and outside training bays.
Use GOLFTEC proprietary technology, including Optimotion and TECSWING teaching software.
Maintain the training center, equipment, and technology.
Perform daily opening and closing functions for the training center.
Participate in continuing education, including distance learning and seminars.
