About The Position

GOLFTEC is a golf instruction company with more than 260 locations worldwide. Its coaches use industry-leading technology to provide data-driven feedback and help golfers improve. As a Certified Personal Coach at GOLFTEC Dublin, you will work with students of varying skill levels to support their golf improvement goals and contribute to GOLFTEC’s mission to help people play better golf. Coaches complete GOLFTEC University (GTU), a comprehensive training program that combines on-the-job training at a GOLFTEC Center with in-person training at GOLFTEC headquarters in the Denver metro area. The role involves using GOLFTEC’s technology and services, maintaining the Training Center, and participating in continuing education. The role offers a base hourly rate, monthly commissions, bonus opportunities, and other performance-based compensation. Estimated total compensation is $55,000–$70,000. A $1,000 signing bonus is paid six months after successful completion of GTU.

Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate in a professional, team-based environment.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, or crouch for extended periods and lift items weighing more than 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience in golf instruction or club fitting is preferred.
Prior knowledge of golf swing mechanics is highly preferred.
Affiliation with the PGA or LPGA is a plus.
Graduation from a PGM program is a plus.

Responsibilities

Graduate from GOLFTEC University, GOLFTEC’s comprehensive training program.
Use golf-industry technology to help people improve their golf.
Recommend teaching content to support customized lesson plans for students of varying skill levels.
Provide GOLFTEC services, including TECFIT Club Fitting, outdoor playing lessons, and short-game lessons.
Create a high-level experience for students inside and outside the training bays.
Use GOLFTEC’s proprietary technology, including Optimotion and TECSWING teaching software.
Maintain the GOLFTEC Training Center environment, equipment, and technology.
Perform daily opening and closing functions for the Training Center.
Participate in continuing education, including distance learning and seminars.
Uphold GOLFTEC’s core values of Fun, Integrity, Improvement, and Team.
