About The Position

GOLFTEC is hiring a Certified Personal Coach for its Farmington location. The coach will join a community of golf professionals and support GOLFTEC’s mission to help people play better golf. Coaches complete GOLFTEC University (GTU), a comprehensive training program combining on-the-job instruction at a GOLFTEC Training Center with in-person training at GOLFTEC headquarters in the Denver Metro Area. The position is suited to someone passionate about teaching golf, motivated to succeed as part of a team, and interested in using golf-industry technology. Compensation includes a base hourly rate, monthly commissions, bonus opportunities, and other performance-based components tied to individual and team performance. Estimated total compensation is $55,000–$65,000. A $1,000 signing bonus is paid upon complete graduation from GOLFTEC University. Coaches work a set schedule and receive two days off per week. Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate in a professional, team-based environment.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, or crouch for extended periods and lift items weighing more than 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience in golf instruction or club fitting is preferred.
Prior knowledge of golf swing mechanics is highly preferred.
Affiliation with the PGA or LPGA is a plus.
Graduation from a PGM program is a plus.

Responsibilities

Graduate from GOLFTEC University, GOLFTEC’s comprehensive training program.
Use golf-industry technology to help students improve their golf game.
Recommend teaching content to support customized lesson plans for students of varying skill levels.
Provide GOLFTEC services, including TECFIT Club Fitting, outdoor playing lessons, and short-game lessons.
Create a high-level experience for students inside and outside training bays.
Use GOLFTEC’s proprietary technology, including Optimotion and TECSWING teaching software.
Maintain the Training Center environment, equipment, and technology.
Perform daily opening and closing functions for the Training Center.
Participate in continuing education, including distance learning and seminars.
