Banner Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for Banner Desert Medical Center/Banner Children’s at Desert. This facility has 24 Operating Rooms and offers a full range of surgical specialties, including Peds Cardiovascular and Adult and Peds Trauma, Urology, Orthopedics, General, Gynecology, Neurology, EENT, Plastics and Robotics. It is the busiest OR in the valley, fast-paced, and performs high acuity cases. In 2017, BDMC/CCMC performed over 21,000 surgeries. The facility utilizes advanced technologies such as the da Vinci Xi robot, NICO, and Stealth guided brain surgery. The position provides routine patient care to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care. This position is responsible for on-going patient data collection and documentation in the medical records and provides a variety of unit support functions which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing unit/department.
