Shriners Children’s is seeking a full-time Certified Orthotic Assistant or Certified Prosthetic/Orthotic Assistant for our location in Woodbury, Minnesota. Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED
• Successful completion of Assistant Certification Eligibility Requirement Pathway 1 or Pathway 2 as required by American Board for Certification Assistant Candidate Guide
• Two years of orthotics experience
• Two years of prosthetics experience
• ABC Registered Assistant
• Must hold or be eligible for MN licensure

Responsibilities

• Measurement, casting, CAD modification, fabrication and fitting of devices under the direct supervision of an ABC Certified Practitioner.
• Timely and compliant patient documentation utilizing OPIE EMR system.
• Supporting front office staff.
• Monitor WIP and device repairs.
• Assist other clinical staff.
• Direct the technical staff in fabrication of specific devices following an organized and orderly work flow with reasonable delivery dates to patients.
