About The Position
Awty International School is seeking a certified or agrégé Mathematics teacher for the 2027–2028 school year. Awty is an international school in Houston serving students from preschool through high school, with academic programs leading to the International Baccalaureate diploma, the French Baccalaureate, or the French International Baccalaureate. Its French program is accredited by the French Ministry of Education, and the school is a partner institution of the Mlfmonde network. The school seeks an experienced, hands-on teacher who engages students creatively and innovatively and can make complex concepts understandable. The ideal candidate is committed to teaching in a diverse, multicultural environment, prioritizes teaching quality, and participates in the school’s quality-assurance initiatives. Candidates should be prepared to collaborate in a culture focused on academic rigor and success for all students. Experience preparing students for the Brevet and Baccalaureate exams is expected. Requirements
- Certified or agrégé teacher in Mathematics.
- At least five years of secondary teaching experience.
- Bilingual in English and French.
- Strong command of English at a minimum B2 level.
- Experience preparing students for the Brevet and Baccalaureate exams.
- Solid professional references, such as inspection reports or recommendations with contact information.
- Skilled, creative, and dynamic educator.
