Works independently and collaboratively with unit managers/team leaders to coordinate the orientation process, annual competencies, and provide on-the-unit education of new equipment, products, policies, and procedures. In conjunction with clinic team leaders/coordinators, develops and provides unit-based educational programs. Performs clinical functions of an ophthalmology technician. The work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job-specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
