About The Position

Overlea at Autumn Lake is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our rehabilitation team within a skilled nursing facility. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping residents regain practical skills, improve daily function, and work toward greater independence in a patient-focused environment.

Requirements

• Active COTA license required
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of the Occupational Therapist
• Assist residents with activities related to dressing, grooming, mobility, coordination, and functional movement
• Support individualized rehab programs designed to improve safety and independence
• Build strong relationships with residents while encouraging participation and progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate updates with the rehab team
