About The Position

City View Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their exceptional in-house rehabilitation team. Requirements

  • Current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments based on individualized care plans
  • Assist residents in improving daily living skills, mobility, strength, and functional independence
  • Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team
  • Accurately document treatments, progress notes, and functional outcomes
  • Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques, therapeutic exercises, and home programs
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care
