About The Position

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, provide occupational therapy services to individual or groups of patients as directed by supervisor and within the limitations described in the State Licensure Law. Record/report patients' progress to multidisciplinary treatment team. Direct all professional/clinical questions and concerns to supervisor or treatment team.

Requirements

  • Associate of Arts Degree in occupational therapy.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in the State of Maryland at the time of appointment and continuously during tenure in position.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a hospital vehicle (for some programs).
  • 3 to 6 months' practice as an OTA in related work.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of occupational therapy practice specific to working with the adults in the area of behavioral health.

Responsibilities
