About The Position

Liberty POST is seeking Full-Time Early Childhood/Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) to provide services to clients in Dutchess County and Orange County, specifically in Newburgh, NY, Port Jervis, NY, and Highland Falls, NY. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Liberty POST, established in 1994 and backed by Liberty Resources Inc., offers a range of high-quality, individualized services. As part of a large social services network, POST has grown from its origins as a speech-language practice to serve clients throughout New York State and Indiana. The organization employs over 500 professionals and utilizes a collaborative team approach, focusing on evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. Liberty POST emphasizes the importance of a child's natural learning environment, a family's unique strengths and needs, and the diverse populations they serve. This position involves working with children aged birth to 5 years through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs.

Requirements

  • Current New York State License and Registration in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • At least one year of experience working with early childhood
  • Current OT License and Certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide services to clients aged birth-5 years old through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs.
  • Conduct evaluations.
