About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing setting. This position offers the opportunity to work with residents on meaningful therapy goals while supporting independence, safety, and functional progress.
Requirements
- Active COTA license required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
- Assist residents with therapeutic activities focused on self-care, mobility, coordination, and upper extremity function
- Reinforce adaptive techniques and therapy strategies to support daily routines and independence
- Observe resident response during treatment sessions and communicate updates to the OT
- Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
