About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing rehabilitation team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with residents on functional goals while helping improve independence, safety, and daily living skills.
Requirements
- Active COTA license required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
- Assist residents with activities focused on self-care, coordination, upper extremity function, and mobility
- Reinforce adaptive techniques and therapeutic exercises designed to improve daily performance
- Observe resident participation during treatment sessions and communicate updates to the OT
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
