PRN COTA in Pediatrics/Ortho Clinic (Ames/Des Moines)
About The Position
Kinetic Edge Physical Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work on a PRN to part-time basis in an outpatient pediatric/ortho clinic in Ames, Iowa, with potential for additional coverage hours in Des Moines, Iowa. The role involves working with pediatric clients who have sensorimotor processing challenges and individuals of all ages with upper extremity orthopedic dysfunctions. The position offers excellent mentorship from a skilled occupational therapist and supports a commitment to continuity of care, active treatments, autonomy of practice, a lifetime of learning, and the platinum rule (treating others better than expected).
Requirements
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Capacity and desire to work with both pediatric and orthopedic populations.
- Ability to work on a PRN to part-time basis.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to do things differently than the norm.
- Desire to work for a team that is committed to ensuring autonomy, mastery, and purpose.
- Willingness to work without being micromanaged.
