About The Position

JEWELS Therapy Clinic is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing pediatric therapy team in Pikesville, Maryland. Requirements

Reliable commute to Pikesville, MD 21208 or willingness to relocate
Passion for working with children and families
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

Active Occupational Therapy Assistant license
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
Previous pediatric therapy experience
Experience working with developmental delays, sensory integration, or autism spectrum disorders

Responsibilities

Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Provide therapeutic interventions focused on: Fine motor development, Sensory processing, Self-care and daily living skills, Functional independence
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising therapists
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary therapy teams to support coordinated patient care
Educate families and caregivers on home strategies and therapeutic carryover
Assist with modifying treatment activities based on patient needs and progress
Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive environment for children and families
