HeritageBeavercreek, OH

About The Position

HealthPro Heritage has a great opportunity for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Trinity Community of Beavercreek. This full-time position offers a rate range of $28/hr, which increases based on years of experience. The setting is a CCRC Continuum of care, meaning residents can move between independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing within the same community. This provides a consistent patient population, allowing therapists to treat the same residents over time and see their long-term progress. Therapists will have the opportunity to work with different levels of care and a wide range of diagnoses, fostering stronger patient relationships through long-term interaction. The role involves working with collaborative care teams, including regular interaction with nursing, social services, and other healthcare professionals, in a stable environment with consistent census and therapy needs. The focus is on quality of life, where therapy helps residents maintain independence and function across different stages of care.

  • Work with interdisciplinary teams (e.g., PT, OT, nursing) to provide holistic care, and educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and strategies for independence.
