About The Position

Dependable Health Services is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their growing home health team in Tucson. This role offers the opportunity to help patients regain independence in the comfort of their own homes, with a focus on one-on-one patient interaction and greater flexibility. A $5,000 retention bonus is currently being offered for this position.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current COTA certification/licensure as required in Arizona
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to patient-centered care

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of occupational therapy experience preferred
• Spanish/English speaking a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Help patients improve strength, coordination, motor skills, and activities of daily living
• Support patients in achieving greater independence and confidence at home
• Document patient progress and communicate changes with the care team
• Identify opportunities to improve safety and function within the home
• Educate patients and families on techniques that support continued progress
