About The Position

A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Kennebunk, ME. Kennebunk Center for Health and Rehabilitation is a 78 bed skilled nursing facility located in Kennebunk, Maine. This newly renovated facility is conveniently located right off the Maine Turnpike, close to great restaurants and shopping centers and is less than a 15 min drive to the ocean! Kennebunk Center for Health and Rehabilitation is a busy and fast-paced facility, where you will be working with the geriatric population, treating both short-term and long-term care patients. Our center has a fantastic rehab team made up of occupational therapists, physical therapists, a speech therapist, and a supportive rehab director that all work well together, and we are looking for someone to join our team! Preferred Therapy Solutions is owned and operated by therapists, focuses on appropriate and ethical patient care, and understands what therapists need to be successful. Requirements

  • Possess a current COTA/ OTA license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
  • Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
  • Work well with others in a team setting
  • Be flexible with hours

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
  • Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
