About The Position

Boothby Therapy Services is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in Merrimack, New Hampshire. The COTA will help children strengthen practical, sensory, motor, and functional skills to participate more confidently and independently throughout the school day. Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current New Hampshire OTA license or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• The ability to connect with students and adapt to their individual learning needs
• A genuine passion for helping children participate, grow, and thrive

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions based on established plans of care
• Help students strengthen fine-motor, visual-motor, sensory-processing, self-regulation, and daily living skills
• Integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines and school activities
• Adapt activities and interventions to meet each student's individual needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Create encouraging, student-centered sessions that build confidence and independence
