About The Position

Riverview at Autumn Lake is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing rehab team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with residents as they regain function, confidence, and independence in a supportive rehabilitation environment.

Requirements

• Active COTA license required
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills

Nice To Haves

• Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
• Assist residents with activities focused on self-care, coordination, mobility, and daily function
• Use therapeutic exercises and adaptive strategies to support resident goals
• Encourage participation and create positive patient experiences during therapy sessions
• Track resident progress and maintain accurate treatment documentation
