About The Position
Theracare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their dedicated therapy team. This position is located in a Country Skilled Nursing Facility and offers easy access to local Regional Management Staff for support. Theracare is an employee-owned company that has been exclusively serving the community since 1996, providing contract Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy services. They are a known rehab provider of choice with a strong emphasis on customer service and partnerships with nursing homes and schools.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current or eligible for state license
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Active membership with the American Occupational Therapy Association (not required)
- Minimum one (1) year experience
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled direct patient care activities under the clinical supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
