About The Position

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing rehabilitation team. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys helping residents improve independence, confidence, and participation in everyday activities through hands-on therapy care. You will provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist, assist residents with functional mobility, self-care activities, coordination tasks, and upper extremity exercises. You will support individualized rehab goals using therapeutic activities and adaptive strategies, encourage resident participation while creating a positive therapy experience, and communicate progress updates with the rehab team and maintain accurate documentation. This is a full-time position in a skilled nursing rehabilitation setting, offering a supportive interdisciplinary rehab environment and the opportunity to work with both post-acute rehab and long-term care residents. The leadership team is focused on therapist development and clinical support.

Requirements

Active COTA license required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities
