About The Position

Carolina Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their team. This role focuses on providing integrated care for children from birth through age 21, emphasizing collaboration, professional development, and a supportive work environment. The COTA will treat children with a variety of developmental, sensory, and motor-based needs, utilizing evidence-based interventions to improve their participation in everyday life activities such as play, learning, self-care, sensory processing, and motor development. The position offers opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, flexible practice settings (clinics, schools, homes, community, telehealth), and a clear path for career growth. Clinicians are assigned a Home Clinic for a consistent professional base.

Requirements

Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in North Carolina
Value collaboration, continued learning, and child- and family-centered care
1+ years of experience preferred - strong pediatric candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Treat children with a wide range of developmental, sensory, and motor-based needs.
Utilize engaging, evidence-based interventions to help children participate more fully in everyday life, including play, learning, self-care, sensory processing, and motor development.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (OTs, PTs, SLPs, Psychology, Behavioral Health) to share ideas, solve problems, and support one another.
Engage in protected time for planning, documentation, and collaboration.
Utilize smarter documentation tools, including customizable templates and AI-assisted tools.
Practice in various settings including clinics, schools, daycares, homes, community settings, and telehealth.
