About The Position
AdvantageCare Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their therapy team at Westmoreland Manor. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team dedicated to helping residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current Pennsylvania COTA license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred but not required.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Assist residents in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living.
- Monitor and document resident progress toward therapy goals.
- Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and families.
- Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and safety strategies.
- Help create positive rehabilitation outcomes that enhance residents' quality of life.
