About The Position

We are seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for an 8-week travel assignment at a skilled nursing facility in Las Animas, CO. This contract is renewable based on the facility's discretion, offering potential for extension for the right clinician. The COTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT) to implement treatment plans for a geriatric and post-acute patient population. Key responsibilities include ADL retraining, functional mobility, adaptive equipment training, and restorative programming.

Requirements

• Active Colorado COTA license (or NBCOT certification with Colorado license in process).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to commit to the full 8-week term.

Nice To Haves

• Prior SNF or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatment plans under the direction of a supervising OT.
• Provide ADL retraining.
• Facilitate functional mobility.
• Conduct adaptive equipment training.
• Implement restorative programming.
