About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join an outpatient pediatric clinic in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to support children in developing skills for daily living, including fine motor coordination, sensory processing, and functional independence. The role provides engaging, play-based therapy and includes close collaboration with families to support each child’s development. Requirements

• Active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with children and families.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 6 months of recent COTA experience within the last 5 years is preferred.
• Experience in an outpatient pediatric setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Guide pediatric patients through therapeutic activities focused on fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate parents and caregivers on home programs and carryover techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
