About The Position
This role is for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) within an in-house, family-owned therapy organization, Sprenger Therapy. Unlike contract therapy models, this position prioritizes patient needs and clinician-led care. The organization emphasizes protected therapy time, respected clinical judgment, mentorship, and a stable, family-oriented culture. Care decisions are guided by outcomes and patient needs, not short-term volume. Sprenger Therapy operates as the in-house rehabilitation team for Sprenger Health Care Systems, a third-generation, family-owned senior living organization with 12 facilities across Ohio and South Carolina.
Requirements
- Active COTA license in good standing
- Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services under OT supervision
- Assist with evaluations, treatment planning, and patient progression
- Deliver patient-centered interventions focused on function and safety
- Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, and the full interdisciplinary care team
- Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes
