About The Position

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) operates within Landmark Hospital's Core Values to provide in-depth clinical expertise within their discipline. You have the opportunity to work with both LTACH and Acute Rehab patients. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) are responsible for treating patients with therapeutic and self-care activities based on the physician and provider orders. COTA work alongside Occupational Therapists as they treat patients with limited mobility. COTA update and document patient treatments, often coordinating occupational therapy with other therapeutic activities within a hospital or rehabilitation setting.

Requirements

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant MO Licensure
• 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant, hospital/rehab experience preferred
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Treating patients with therapeutic and self-care activities based on the physician and provider orders.
• Working alongside Occupational Therapists to treat patients with limited mobility.
• Updating and documenting patient treatments.
