About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and enhance overall quality of life.
Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) in Arizona
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Previous clinical or travel experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
- Support patients in therapeutic activities to improve mobility, strength, and coordination
- Monitor and document patient progress and report updates to the supervising therapist
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Ensure a safe and clean therapy environment
